
Client was launching the first ever debit card in Tanzania and needed technical assistance to package and market the product nationally. The client also needed helpCRDB was preparing to launch Tanzania’s first-ever national debit card and required strategic support to clearly define, position, and introduce the product to market. The rollout needed a compelling brand identity, a structured go-to-market plan, and a national campaign capable of driving adoption across diverse customer segments. With no prior benchmark in the local market, the launch also needed to educate consumers and build confidence in digital payments. in coming up with the brand name as well as its application in all materials.
Our agency designed and executed the full launch framework for CRDB’s debit card, starting with the product name and card identity system. We conducted market analysis and segmentation to define priority customer groups and built a targeted advertising strategy aligned to each segment’s needs and behaviors.
We developed an integrated above-the-line and below-the-line campaign that supported nationwide marketing and sales efforts, and produced the core campaign creative across formats. In addition, we prepared the media strategy and managed media placement to ensure efficient reach, strong visibility, and coordinated rollout across channels.
