CHALLENGE

HIV/AIDS was spreading fast amongst the youth between the ages of 16 and 25. The awareness campaign on usage of condoms seemed to have fallen on deaf ears and did not specifically target the youth.

There was a need to create a campaign that talked directly to the target audience in terms of their behaviour, aspirations and how best to protect themselves from the disease.

Agency Task

  • Developed a name and logo for the campaign
  • Developed and executed the communication strategy
  • Supervised focus group testing
  • Production of all merchandise and internal communications i.g. design and production of brochures, newsletter, T-shirts, pens, cups etc.
  • Prepared the media strategy and handled the placement
